Aguaconsult is a member of the network of service providers for the DEWPoint Resource Centre, which provides technical and support services to the UK government's DFID in areas of water and sanitation, environment, water resources, and climate change. Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC), UK

Aguaconsult is a member of the Network of Providers for the Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC). The LRC provides technical and support services to DFID in areas of livelihoods and rural development; the LRC website www.livelihoodsrc.org has further livelihoods resources for the development community.

International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC),
The Netherlands

The IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre provides news, publishing, documentation and portal services, helping partners with knowledge sharing, capacity building and learning programmes for pro-poor sustainable water supply, sanitation, and hygiene in developing countries (www.irc.nl).

Aguaconsult and IRC have built up a strong working relationship over the past six years, largely focusing on the sustainability of services under community-management models in the rural sector. The two organisations have also collaborated more widely, including projects for the European Commission and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Development Focus International, Bolivia

Development Focus International, based in La Paz, Bolivia, is an international consulting company providing advisory services to clients around the world in the areas of disaster management and risk reduction, community development, intercultural communication and organizational development. Development Focus International has a primary focus in Latin America and can provide services in both English and Spanish.

Aguaconsult and Development Focus International have collaborated on a number of significant projects in the past, including evaluations for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the UK government's DFID.

Building Partnerships for Development in Water and Sanitation, UK

BPD Water and Sanitation is an international cross-sector learning network focused on improving access to safe water and effective sanitation in poor communities. BPD's primary aims are to explore through action research the contribution partnerships make to meeting the water and sanitation needs of poor communities and to assist, through direct project-level support, in developing partnerships for the provision of water and sanitation. Aguaconsult and BPD share many common areas of focus in water and sanitation provision to poor consumers and have collaborated in research, including efforts to promote the understanding of public - private sector and civil society partnerships in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
