Strengthening sanitation and hygiene in the WASH systems conceptual framework
This study is a quick review of urban onsite sanitation projects implemented through BMGF/DFID Partnership Cities. Its main objective is to identify lessons on engaging with the private sector for the delivery of inclusive and sustainable urban sanitation services in the six cities in SSA.

The Cost of Water Project supports the effective planning and sustainable management of water supply systems in refugee camps and settlements. Launched in 2014 by the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Unit in DPSMÕs Public Health Section in partnership with IRC, the project measures the overall costs of providing effective water systems in a variety of refugee hosting contexts to create a flexible decision-making tool specific to refugee situations.
