Climate Resilient WASH Gap Analysis
This report is the second part of the multi-stage study and presents an assessment of the barriers and gaps to the adoption of climate resilience approaches by NGOs which are currently considered to be making less progress in this area. The first report offered a summary of the tools, experiences, and other resources adopted by NGOs considered to be at the forefront of implementing climate-resilient approaches. Subsequent stages of the study will identify Change Agents who may be influential in the broader uptake of these tools and resources.
The report presents the findings of our assessment and is structured as follows:
Section 2 provides an introduction to the pathways leading to climate resilience and outlines the objectives NGOs should strive towards.
Section 3 offers insights into the potential costs of inaction, illustrating how failing to take measures now could lead to greater expenses in the future.
Section 4 discusses the core findings of this report, focusing on the challenges NGOs encounter in integrating climate resilience, specifically identifying the barriers and limitations.
Section 5 highlights the next steps of the study.
